NEW ADDITIONS

Welcome!

St. Catherine's Orthodox Christian Mission is a pan-Orthodox Community with Orthodox Christians from many different backgrounds.  Together, we seek to serve as a lighthouse in Arlington,
where members of the Body of Christ participate frequently in the life of the Church,
gather for Christian encouragement and fellowship,
find guidance and instruction in their Orthodox Faith,
and strive together to fulfill the Great Commission.

We are located in the Educational Building of St. Mark's Anglican Parish in Arlington.  They have graciously allowed us to use their conference room as our new chapel, and to share the kitchen and dining facilities.

We follow both the Byzantine and OCA typikon and music (in English).

What is the Orthodox Church?

“The Orthodox Christian Church is evangelical, but not Protestant.
It is orthodox, but not Jewish. It is catholic, but not Roman.
It is not denominational, it is pre-denominational.
It has believed, taught, preserved, defended, and died for the
Faith of the Apostles since the Day of Pentecost nearly 2,000 years ago.”
